3:10 to Yuma

Yes, I watched the movie, 3:10 to Yuma last night. I was so tired after a long day at work; but I wanted to return the DVD since I kept it for a week. Then I decided to watch it without any expectation of how good the movie is or not. At the end, the movie got me thinking quite a lot because of the outstanding moral value behind the plot. Basically the main character, Dan, a small town rancher who agrees to hold a captured outlaw who's awaiting a train to go to court in Yuma. A battle of wills ensues as the outlaw tries to psych out the rancher. As much as the outlaw tries to allure Dan with increasing prices, he couldn't buy off Dan's conviction of sending the outlaw to the train station.

Aren't we facing the devil the same way everyday? The devil is being captured and bound by the blood of Jesus although he is walking closely with us trying to lead us into temptation. The devil seems like a "nice" guy just like the outlaw but he kills, steals and destroys to survive! All we need to do is keep pressing in during trouble times! Don't give up. Don't sell ourselves out to the devil no matter what the prices are! Just live by the Word of God till the day comes!

Wow...that's a revelation!

Go watch the movie!
