Rose Hills

Annie and I all dressed up for a family friends funeral today. We walked in to this funeral home in Alhambra; it's my second time there, first time was Raymond's dad, now it's Dr. Karen Cho's mother. Both were performed in the Buddhist ceremony, I felt the loss of the family in the air along with the burning incense. Then it's time to bow and pay respect to the deceased and the family. There I was in front of the coffin for 4 seconds, thinking and wondering about life.

After that, we went to Rose Hills, first time I've ever been to Rose Hills. Looking at the different tombstones, some died young, some died old, some were highly educated, some were loved.
I felt like it doesn't matter who you are or what you are, this is where you will end up one day. Maybe not Rose Hills, but 6 feet under.

Got Jesus? hmm...it makes sense.
